What a fabulous ride you took me on. I started to wonder how you were going to end it and you STUCK the landing:

‘It’s an amazing feeling to know you were meant to do something, and I, Caroline, was meant to be your mother.”

I’m also reminded of the question, “Why don’t men give birth to the children? Because they couldn’t handle it.”

PS: LOVED the picture of Clayton.

Thanks, James. It was a wild day and I felt SO empowered, I DID NOT however, feel that way with my second daughters birth. That essay will come! Thanks for reading!!

I think my wife felt the same way about our second, and she came 31 minutes later :)

Your wife needs a Substack and an essay on that. What a hero. ‼️

Yes, YOU HAD A PLAN!! Haha love so much how this turned out. It was so intense. The hook was killer and the detailed time stamps throughout was brilliant.

Always have a plan, never goes the way I expect it to :) Birth was wild. With Caro I felt on top of the world, my 2nd time around was the opposite, I was anxious, scared and kept asking for more time before pushing.. haha! That essay will come. Thank you for your support on this one. I know that was a lot of editing time- means a lot!
